Grooming – 7. 7 Stages of Grooming

We will look at this in more detail now by looking at one of the model’s for grooming, which splits it into 7 stages. This model is put forward by The Children’s Society, Victim Support and National Police Chiefs Council.

What do you think are the 7 stages of grooming? What would each stage look like? This would help us recognise what might be happening to the individual.
